Report Forecasting
ENTERPRISE EDITIONForecasting refers to predicting future values, based on existing past values. Zoho Billing supports forecasting in reports, which gives you indicators about the company’s future performance. Zoho Billing uses its own forecasting algorithm to make accurate predictions by accounting for the following factors:
- Anomaly - It refers to a value in data, which deviates noticeably from expected patterns. For example, it can refer to a sudden increase or decrease in data, which occurs randomly and may not appear again.
- Seasonality - It refers to the changes in data that reoccur at a periodic interval. For example, it can refer to a spike in sales during a festive season.
- Trends - It refers to a gradual change in data over a period of time. For example, it can refer to an increase in sales month after month.
This is particularly helpful to predict sales patterns during specific seasons, helping to prepare business inventory. You can also project potential revenue based on historical data, supporting strategic decision-making.
