Can I warn users when they reach their budget limit?
Yes, admins can configure warning notifications whenever the approved expenses exceed the budget percentage in the warning slab. Here’s how:
- Click Admin View on the left sidebar.
- Go to Budgets on the left sidebar.
- Click + New Budget in the top right corner.
- Select User Budget.
- Select the User from the dropdown.
- Select the Fiscal Year, Budget Period, Budget Type, and enter the Budget Amount.
- Slide the toggle next to Get alerts when the budget has been exceeded.
- Enter the budget percentage value at which a warning notification should be sent.
- Select the Warning Type from the dropdown. You can choose to send an in-app notification and an email alert.
- Click Save.
