• How do I sign up?

  It's simple to sign up for Zoho Books. Provide your company name, email address, and phone number on the Sign-up page, select a secure password, and you're ready to begin. Before choosing to subscribe to Zoho Books, you can try the product for 14 days for free.

• Do I need to install anything to access Zoho Books?

  As it is a cloud-based service, no installation is necessary. Zoho Books is simple to access using your computer browser and smartphone. Zoho Books is compatible with a wide range of devices, including desktops, Mac and Windows laptops, smartphones (including iPhones and Android phones), tablets (including iPads or Android tablets), and smartwatches (both Apple and Android). Dedicated iOS and Android applications are available for Zoho Books.

• How does Zoho Books ensure changes made on one device are in sync with all other devices?

  As a cloud-based system, changes performed in your account on one device will instantly sync with all other devices. It is entirely up to you whether you decide to utilize all devices available (desktop, laptop, mobile, smartwatch, or tablet) or would rather use one. With Zoho Books, your data is automatically backed up to the cloud, so even if your internet connection is interrupted, you never have to worry about losing your work.

• Am I bound to Zoho Books forever?

  No! As Zoho Books is a pay-as-you-go service, you are not obligated to sign a contract or commit to continuing your subscription. If at any moment you are unsatisfied with our product or service (we hope you will not :) ), you may cancel your subscription.Learn more about our company's refund policy, if you wish to cancel your subscription.

• Are my transactions secure?

  Yes, Zoho Books uses two-factor authentication and SSL encryption to secure your transactions.

• Do you store my credit card information?

  No, we don't store your credit card information. Take a look at our Privacy Policy to learn more.

• I use the free plan. Can I get product support?

  Yes, basic support is available for all plans. The free plan comes with email support. Send your queries to support.africa@zohobooks.com any time.

• For how long is the free plan free?

  As long as your revenue for the financial year does not exceed the threshold of KSh 5 million, Zoho Books's Free Plan is available indefinitely.

• How many invoices can I create in a year?

  Here are the annual invoice limits for each of Zoho Books' plans:

  • Free Plan: Up to 1,000 invoices can be created annually.
  • Standard Plan: Up to 5,000 invoices can be created annually.
  • Professional Plan: Allows up to 10,000 invoices annually.
  • Premium Plan: Allows up to 25,000 invoices annually.
  • Elite Plan and Ultimate Plan:   Allow up to 100,000 invoices annually.

• How many bills/expenses can I create in a year?

  Here are the annual bill/expense limits for each of Zoho Books' plans:

  • Free Plan: Allows you to create up to 1,000 expenses annually.
  • Standard Plan: Allows you to create up to 5,000 bills/expenses annually.
  • Professional Plan: Allows you to create up to 10,000 bills/expenses annually.
  • Premium Plan:  Allows you to create up to 25,000 bills/expenses annually.
  • Elite Plan and Ultimate Plan: Allow you to create up to 100,000 bills/expenses annually.

• How can I add additional users to my organisation?

  By default, Zoho Books allows you to add 3 users to the Standard Plan, 5 users to the Professional Plan, 10 users to the Premium Plan, 10users to the Elite Plan, and 15 users to the Ultimate Plan. If you need more users, you can add them with the Zoho Books user add-on for KSh 240 per user per month or KSh 200 per user per month billed annually.

• Is there a limit to the number of reports I can schedule?

  You can schedule a total of 5 reports in the free plan, 5 reports in the Standard plan, 50 reports in the Professional plan, and 200 reports in the Premium, Elite, and Ultimate plans.

• Can I run more than one business?

  Yes, absolutely. You can have multiple businesses set up as different organizations associated with your Zoho Books account

• I purchased the subscription of Zoho Books before 30 June, 2023. What happens to my introductory discount if my subscription gets cancelled?

  Your introductory discount will end if you cancel your subscription manually or if it is cancelled due to non-receipt of payment. Following the cancellation, you will have to pay the complete subscription fee to use Zoho Books

• What is the limit for exporting reports in different formats?

  For PDF reports, you can export reports with up to 5000 records instantaneously. Other file formats (Zoho Sheet, CSV, XLS, and XLSX), support 20,000 records in an instantaneous export. If your report exceeds these limits, it will be processed asynchronously, meaning you will need to wait for a notification once the report is ready for download.

• How many records can I export in the asynchronous report?

  In the Free, Standard, Professional, and Premium plans, you can export up to 100,000 records in a single asynchronous report. If you are subscribed to the Elite or Ultimate plans, you can export up to 1 million records. To export more than this limit, you can filter by date and export the additional records as separate files.
