Why am I not getting notifications for the actions performed on reports or trips by my delegate?
By default, notifications are not generated for the actions performed by the delegate users. However, your admin user can configure a workflow rule in Zoho Expense to trigger custom notifications to the users when the delegate approves or rejects a report or trip. Here’s how:
- Click Admin View on the left sidebar.
- Go to Settings on the left sidebar.

Click Settings in the top right corner of the page. - Select Workflow Rules under Automation.
- Click + New Workflow Rule in the top right corner of the page.
- Provide a Name for your workflow, select the Module, and provide a Description.
- Select the Workflow type and select when to trigger the workflow.
- Filter the trigger and choose when to execute the workflow.
- Select the action to be performed and the user role for which the custom action must be generated.
- Click Save.
Now, you will receive in-app notifications when your delegate performs any action in the Reports or Trips module.
