Why isn’t the Rupee symbol showing on my downloaded invoice?

The PDF font selected in the template should support the Indian Rupee symbol. If it does not support the symbol, the currency symbol will not be visible in the invoice PDF. To check the font selected:

  1. Go to Settings and choose Customization.
  2. Select PDF Templates.
  3. Go to Invoices and click the Edit icon to customise the default template.
  4. On the right sidebar, select General.
  5. Click Font and check the font selected under the PDF Font field.
  6. If the selected font does not support the Indian Rupee symbol, you can change the font.

Pro Tip: Fonts such as Noto Sans, DejaVu Sans, DejaVu LGC Sans, Ubuntu, Font RTL, Hind, Hind Madurai, Hind Vadodara, and Roboto support the Indian Rupee symbol.
