Can I view the trial balance report with opening and closing balances?
Yes, you can view the report with opening and closing balances if you generate the report for a date range. Here’s how:
- Go to the Reports module and click Accountant from Report Category.
- Choose Trial Balance.
- Click the drop-down next to As of Date and choose Date Range.
- Click Run Report.
- Now, click Customize Report Columns.
- In the Available Columns section, hover over Opening Balance and click the + button next to it.
- Similarly, click the + icon next to Closing Balance.
- Click Run Report.
