After creating an item I realized that I forgot to update the SKU. Is it possible to update the SKU for the item through import ?

Yes, you can overwrite the existing item details by selecting the Overwrite Items option under Duplicate Handling while importing.

Here’s a list of fields that you can overwrite:

  • SKU
  • HSN
  • Description
  • Sale Price & Cost Price
  • Unit
  • Preferred Vendor
  • Item Status
  • Opening stock & Opening stock rate per unit
  • Reporting Tag
  • Custom Field
  • Default Tax Rate
