I’m unable to scan the e-invoice QR code as it states that the digital signature is invalid. What should I do?

This error could be due to any of the following reasons:

  1. If you are using the Sandbox environment for e-invoicing but you are using an application that scans the live data QR code, you will encounter the error.

    Note: Use the appropriate application to scan e-invoice QR codes generated in the live environment.

  2. If the invoice PDF downloaded from Zoho Books has been modified using a PDF editor, the embedded QR code may be altered or corrupted. As a result, QR code verification apps may fail to read it. To resolve this, ensure you scan the original, unmodified invoice downloaded directly from Zoho Books.
