Can I warn users when they reach their budget limit?

Yes, admins can configure warning notifications whenever the approved expenses exceed the budget percentage in the warning slab. Here’s how:

  • Click Admin View on the left sidebar.
  • Go to Budgets on the left sidebar.
  • Click + New Budget in the top right corner.
  • Select User Budget.
  • Select the User from the dropdown.
  • Select the Fiscal Year, Budget Period, Budget Type, and enter the Budget Amount.
  • Slide the toggle next to Get alerts when the budget has been exceeded.
  • Enter the budget percentage value at which a warning notification should be sent.
  • Select the Warning Type from the dropdown. You can choose to send an in-app notification and an email alert.
  • Click Save.
