Is it possible to notify a department head when users in their department are nearing their budget limit?

Admins can set budget limits for users and notify the department head when they exceed the set limit. Here’s how:

  • Click Admin View on the left sidebar.
  • Go to Budgets on the left sidebar.
  • Click the More icon next to the budget.
  • Select Edit.
  • Slide the toggle next to Get alerts when the budget has been exceeded.
  • Enter the budget percentage value at which a warning notification should be sent.
  • Select Email Alerts from the Warning Type dropdown.
  • Click + New Email Alert from the Name dropdown to create a new email alert.
  • Enter a Name for the email alert and select an Email Template.
  • Select Department Head from the Email Recipient dropdown and click Save.
  • Click Save.

With this, department heads will be notified when users exceed the set budget limit.
