The World Organization of the Scout Movement is the largest international scouting organization. It is the world's leading educational youth movement, empowering 57 million young people and volunteers to be active global citizens and agents of change in their communities. The Scout Movement has continued to grow and is now active in 173 National Scout Organizations. Today, over 57 million young people, supported by millions of dedicated volunteers, take part in scouting activities and events worldwide.
Established in 1922, The World Scout Bureau is the Secretariat of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). The bureau supports the functions of the World Scout Conference and World Scout Committee.
