My organization has only branches. How will migrating to locations affect it?
Scenario: Lucy’s Zoho Books organization has 5 branches operating in different regions. After migrating to the Locations feature in Zoho Books, these branches will be converted into business locations. The Primary Branch, will be marked as the Primary Location.
Once you migrate from Branches to Locations, all existing branches will be automatically updated as Business Locations. The Primary Branch will become the Primary Location.
In all existing transactions, the branch will be automatically replaced by the corresponding business location. The business location of the transaction will be applied as the warehouse location for the line items.
Any previously configured automations, such as workflows or custom functions involving branches, must be reconfigured after migrating to the Locations feature.
